SCIENCE FICTION FILM SERIES FIRST DAY COVER SET: Set of 4 First Day Covers for the 50th Anniversary of Talking Pictures commemorative U.S. stamp, cancelled in Hollywood on October 6, 1977, #1716 of 3000, NM. Each envelope has a color STAR WARS cachet of either C3PO, Luke, Princess Leia & Chewbacca, or Darth Vader, around each of these images are B&W scenes from other classic SF films from 1929 to 1976. The back of the FDC shows the serial number and lists the films shown on the front of the cover. With the set of 4 covers, you also get a roughly 3.5 x 6.5 inch booklet, introduced by George Pal, that talks about each cover and shows B&W stills from SF films. This is a classic limited edition set (only 3,000 made!) for all Star Wars or Science Fiction fans. Note: Sample shown is a different serial number. See booklet and sample covers front and back $30

NEW! STAR WARS COMIC BOOK ISRAELI EDITION Condition VG/F, 1986, Reprints two issues of the Marvel Comics series, carries a 1977 LucasFilm copyright (the only thing in English in the entire issue). The cover is a reversed image of Star Wars #8 from 1978, but I have no idea if the contents include that issue. Tom Palmer definitely had a hand on the interior artwork. The covers are heavier stock and the issue is slightly larger than a normal US comic, it measures 6.75 x 10.5 inches and, of course, you read it back to front, assuming you can read Hebrew. The artwork is reversed! See cover $20

NEW! THE MAKING OF STAR WARS (1995): 20th Century Fox Videotape (VHS) 9520, MIP - Never opened, still sealed in the original 20th Century Fox shrinkwrapped labeled box. Box indicates "Free Not For Resale." Color, unrated, approximately 50 minute film hosted by C-3PO and R2-D2 about the making of Star Wars. Includes interviews with the main actors and George Lucas. I place no warranty on the tape, but it is unused and factory sealed. Not often found in this condition. See box cover $18

These were the game sheets that consumers used to insert their POG-like "coins" from drinks into. All the main characters shown: Anakin Skywalker, Shmi Skywalker, Darth Maul, Queen Amidala, Sebulba, R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Sidious, Qui-Gon Jinn, Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, etc. Printed on heavy stock in full color.
