AMAZING SPIDER-MAN by Stan Lee and John Romita
395 dailies (includes doubles). The lot runs the first year (317 strips from 1977) and the first part of year two (78 from 1978). These are the first Spider-Man dailies from between January 3, 1977 (first strip) to April 1, 1978. Plus, you get 3 promo panels from December 1976 advertising the premier of the strip. Doubles include almost all of the first week with three copies of Strip #1!!! Villains appearing are Dr. Doom, Dr. Octopus, The Rattler (1st appearance), The Kingpin, Kraven, Mysterio, and you get Spider-Man's origin story. Most strips cut with big borders and 99% have dated headers, a few may be trimmed tight. These have been stored away for decades, so quality is high. No yellowing or tanning. A few may have a minor tear or a chip out of a corner, but overall it's an outstanding collection of the earliest strips. See sample daily  $350

135 different dailies: The first 113 dailies from between January 3 (first strip) to May 13, 1977 and 22 from October 4-29, 1977 (Spider-Man's Origin story). Plus, 21 different Sundays from January 9 to May 8, 1977 (the first 18 Sundays) and 3 from October 9-23, 1977 (the origin story). Villains include Dr. Doom, Dr. Octopus and The Rattler (1st appearance). Most strips cut with big borders and have dated headers, a few are trimmed tight. VG/F condition - 1 inch ink mark in bottom front page border: UK color and B&W comics section, 16 pages, 12 x 16 inches - uneven folded in half, strips include Kelly and his Assistant Cedric, Beryl the Peril, Foxy, Willie and the Fabulous Whizzers from Ozz, Jimmy Jinx, Big Fat Flo, Nobby, Ghastly Manor, Sammy's Scribbles, Sleepy Ed, Tiny the World's Biggest Dog, Fred the Flop, Danny's Tranny, Hoozee the Wotsit, and Mickey the Monkey.  $6
