WORLD WAR II GERMAN MILITARY COLLECTIBLES
These are all original, WW II era German and Nazi military collectibles - NO reproductions!
They were all obtained from American veterans who served in Europe during the 1940s.
These items are offered as pieces of military history for collectors and are NOT
for sale as an endorsement of the Nazi party or Nazi beliefs. By law, the
Luftwaffe Flak Badge can not be sold to certain countries in Europe; so with regret, I won't take orders
for it from any European collectors outside of the U.K.
HESSEN VETERAN'S BADGE: This medal, from the Grand Duchy of Hesse, is oval with a crowned, sword-bearing, lion in the center and topped with a Hessen crown. The front reads, "Kriegerkameradschaft Hassia" around the rampant lion. Twin red, black, and white ribbons extend from the badge with metal tassels at the bottom of each. The reverse is hallmarked by the manufacturer "L. Schmidt Rauch Darmstadt" around the edge with "Posamentier Waren Militär Effekten" in the center. Size is 3 inches long by 1.25 inches wide. Condition is very good, metal is clean, with the cloth ribbons showing the most wear, some fraying on the black stripe on the right ribbon. Badge and metal tassel clasps are all present and secure. Back pin is straight and the pin hook is shaped in the typical period twist pattern. The War Veteran's Association in Hesse awarded these badges. It is possible that this is pre-WWII, but I can attest to it coming back in 1945. See badge front and back $70
LUFTWAFFE FLAK BADGE: This medal, first instituted in January 1941, was awarded to Nazi air defense crews on a 16 point requisite basis. This fine example, from mid-war, is made from zinc, in a standard two-piece construction, by Hermann Wernstein, with the "W" mint mark clearly visible on the back. Size is 2.5 inches tall by 1.75 inches wide. Condition is as close to "pristine" as I've ever seen in a used military award. Original shine still exists in areas on the badge. Barrel-hinged needle-style back pin and hook clasp are without any defects. It is a superb example worthy of any high end collection. See badge front and back $475

US MILITARY COLLECTIBLES
These are all original, WW II era United States Armed Forces military collectibles - NO
reproductions or reprints!
They were all obtained from American veterans who served in Europe during the 1940s.
ARMY CORPORAL STRIPES PATCH: An unused WWII era Corporal shoulder patch. O.D. green on a black background, heavy fabric, but not wool. See patch $5
BELFAST MAP AND ACCOMPANYING DOCUMENTS: An original "For Issue To Members of U.S.A. Forces Only" pocket map of Belfast, Ireland. Printed for the Ordnance Survey by W. & G. B., Ltd. in 1943. B&W with key locations printed in red (American Consulate, Red Cross, Bus Stations, etc.). Condition is very good, paper has yellowed a bit and was folded into eighths in the '40s, but has been stored flat for several decades. Four pinholes in the fold creases exist. Map size is roughly 4.5 x 7 inches. Also included, Northern Bank Limited, Belfast "Dollar Exchange Table" for American Troops (roughly 3.75 x 5.5 inches when opened, good condition). In case you're interested, when this was printed, One Pound = $4.02. Plus, a Club Savoy Membership Card dated 24 May 1944. According to the card, Club Savoy was "Belfast's Nite Spot, located at 118 Royal Avenue." I'd be shocked to learn if the building was still standing! The card (roughly 3 x 4.5 inches, very good condition) was filled out by a U.S. Army enlisted man. See all 3 documents All 3 WWII period documents for $35
82ND "REINFORCMENT" BATTALION ALGRANGE DAY PASS: An original US Army six hour pass issued on 22 August 1945 allowing a soldier to attend a dance in Algrange. This fascinating document states that the soldier is to pay 40 francs at the door of the dance hall, where the proprietor will supply "orchestra, girls, and hall" in return. Condition is very good, two minor edge chips, paper has yellowed a bit and was folded into quarters at some point, probably in '45, but has been stored flat for several decades. Pass size is roughly 4.5 x 8 inches and was typed on the back of a recycled form (common practice of the day). See day pass $25
5TH INFANTRY DIVISION 1945 RADIO BROADCAST TRANSCRIPT: Condition is Very Good, paper has yellowed a bit and both pages were folded into quarters at some point, probably in '45, but have been stored flat for several decades. The typing of the period has caused pinholes in the paper in places. This is an original, hand-typed, complete with typos, type-overs and cross-outs, three-page (on two pieces of paper) transcript of the 21 February 1945, "Blue Network" broadcast. Vincent Sheean is the author and the transcript was given to all members of the 5th Division. "Headquarters 5th Infantry Division Office of the AC of S, G-2, Pro" is typed at the top of page 1. The transcript goes on to recap the exploits of the 5th Division and praises their efforts. The first page is typed on both sides and the second has a blank back; paper size is 8 x 10.5 inches. Unique item for "Red Diamond" collectors! See page 1 $40
FOOD RATION TICKET: An original Ministry of Food ration ticket, issued for the week ending 2 September 1943, but not used. Issuing Officer signature is Captain Robert G. "Crosuen?" (Last name is my best guess) The ticket is unpunched/unstamped for rations of "Meat, Butter/Margarine/Cooking Fats, Cheese, Bacon, Sugar, Milk, Eggs, and Tea." The ticket back has instructions for Army, Air Force and Navy personnel. Size is 2 x 5.25 inches and condition is Very Good with one straightened fold and dog-eared corner. See ticket front and back $25

KOREAN WAR MILITARY COLLECTIBLES
These are all original, Korean War era United States Armed Forces military collectibles - NO reproductions!
They were all obtained from an American veteran who flew during the war.
AIR FORCE COMMAND PILOT'S WINGS: USAF pilot's wings, 3 inches tip to tip, 1.5 inches from the bottom tip of shield to top leaf cluster encircling the star. Brass back clutch holders. "Vanguard N. Y. 14" is the hallmark on the back. Based upon the rounded shield shape I've seen on other Korean (1950-53) era wings, I'm calling this Korean era and not WWII. It was obtained from a Lt. Col. who flew in both WWII and Korea. While it's possibly WWII, most WWII era shields I've seen come to defined points on both the top left and right corners and this one does not. Condition is almost like new, superb example. See wings $45
AIR FORCE OFFICER'S CAP BADGE: USAF Officer's Cap Eagle. Size roughly 2.25 inches wingtip to wingtip, 2.5 inches from the bottom to top. Excellent condition, no bends or scratches. Screw back with original brass screw present, single alignment pin at the top. No hallmark on the back. Manufacturer different from the next example with many noticeable design variations. See cap eagle $40

No hallmark on the back. Manufacturer different from the above example with many noticeable design variations. See cap eagle $35
