KENTUCKY FRIED MOVIE (1977): One-Sheet Movie Poster Study Original Artwork by David Weisman. This color study was done in 1977 for the second movie poster ad campaign of the John Landis comedy classic. Jim Abrahams and Jerry & David Zucker also worked on this film. The large colorfast marker image (no loss of color intensity over the years) is drawn on 14 x 24 inch thin white paper and is mounted on 20 x 29 inch black crescent board. There are two small light tan droplet stains in the lower left white border. The artwork depicts a monster hatching from an egg with the tag, "There's Nothing Chicken About..." Below this is a hand-lettered logo and some hand-lettered screen credits. As provenance, this original was published in "The Great Sci-Fi, Fantasy & Horror Movie Memorabilia Book, Volume One" on page 91. David has also done film production illustrations for "Dark Star," "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" and "Cheech & Chong's Next Movie." opticals will be shot. See artwork

McQueen's first big heroic moment in the film. See artwork
